I had wanted to start my own business for a long time, but nothing ever spoke to me until I thought of "Balmer". A nod to my local ecosystem (Baltimore), but also just a fantastic name for a lip balm. If I was going to make it happen, I knew it had to be eco-friendly, organic, and an overall great product; I began experimenting with formulas and hit on one that my friends would not stop telling me how much they loved. The support from my close friends and my community is the only reason Balmer made it so far.
